At the Beach

Two days ago when I was biking back from the beach, I saw an elegant classic black car at the alley. It was parking at the garage waiting for its regular maintenance. I walked in to the garage this morning, and I met Ed. He is a car expert specializing in Cadillacs. He told me that it was a 1934 Plymouth, and it still ran very fast. I proposed him participating Give+ Project, so then he asked me to paint butterfly and Puerto Rico/Rican in a pleasant atmosphere for a female friend of him.

你的畫讓我想起或許可以研究一下一位畫家Milton Avery，或是Mark Rothko早期的作品，因為他早期是Milton Avery的學生。另外有一位畫家是Richard Diebenkorn中期的作品，他的許多作品都以Santa Monica作為背景或是主題，Santa Monica是他最後居住的地方。
